Our teachers are qualified and trained to handle CBSE Curriculum. They are selected based on expertise as well as qualities such as dedication to the profession, patience in dealing with the children. Further they are trained to be innovative in making learning a pleasurable adventure. They inculcate a desire in the young minds to learn and excel. The teachers encourage the students to shed their inhibitions and discuss issues freely. Teachers undergo training at regular intervals to hone their craft. 

The school is equipped with Special Educators to help out the children with dyslexia and learning challenges.

Recruitment process

Great care is taken in the way we recruit our teachers - who we believe are the pillars of a great school. Along with the requisite academic and professional qualifications love of children, passion for perfection and love of learning are essential qualifications to be a SSVIS teacher. We believe that the right attitude is of great importance.

To ensure that we select faculty with the right attitude, we have put in place multiple processes for recruitment of teachers. It involves English language assessment, technical test, psychometric tests, group discussion, and interviews.

All teachers are on a year's probation before they are confirmed as a regular teacher to ensure that we retain the very best. Understanding the best uses of technology, interpersonal and communication skills are also key skills of the teachers.

Teacher Training

Our teachers attend workshops on a regular basis (On-campus & Off-campus) on classroom management, project-based learning, etc., to get themselves updated with the current trends in education.

They are exposed to inspirational movies & role models. E.g. Movies such as Taare zameen par (a Hindi movie about dyslexic children), Kuttram kadithal, English Vinglish, Cosmos (science documentary), etc to become better people.
